Mission Statement

Assist new members in making informed ministry selections based on interest, talent, availability and level of commitment.

What We Do

The New Members Ministry facilitates the transition of new members from being part of the congregation to becoming core members. Members of the New Members Ministry also address any questions new members may have regarding the church or various ministries within the church. In addition, the New Members Ministry is responsible for the following tasks:

• Organizing materials for New Members class.
• Setting up for the New Members Luncheon.
• Assisting new members with ministry selections.
• Attending Leaders and Workers meeting.
• Welcoming new members.
• Serve as a ministry selection mentor and point of contact to graduates of the New Members class and assist them in making informed decision.
• Keep new members informed of upcoming events

Requirements to Serve with Us:

• Be committed to the OASIS Family Life Church, under the leadership of Pastor Anthony and First Lady Christina Murray.
• Be acquainted with the ministries within the OASIS Family Life Church, as to the particular purpose and function.
