What is exercise?
Physical exercise is any bodily activity that enhances or maintains physical fitness and overall health. Exercise is performed to strengthen muscles and the cardiovascular system, building and maintaining healthy bone density and joint mobility, weight loss or maintenance and for enjoyment.Why exercise?
Frequent and regular physical exercise is important for maintaining a healthy weight, boosts the immune system and helps prevent such diseases as heart disease, cardiovascular disease, Type 2 Diabetes and obesity. It also improves mental health, helps prevent depression, and helps to promote or maintain positive self esteem.Come Exercise with the lovely ladies of OASIS Family Life Church. We pray, laugh, sweat and honor our temples through innovative and exhilarating exercises!
Group Gatherings - Every Monday and Thursday @ 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Audience - Females 16 and up
Requirements - mat, weights, water, towel (if you do not have these items come anyway we have extra) Some classes do incur a cost. Participants will be notified in advance.
